THE
TEAM

Emory Asian Women's Association proudly presents Project IX, a conversation that explores TitleIX narrative through Asian students from American universities.

Title IX is a federal law created as part of the Education Amendments of 1972 that protects all students and employees from gender discrimination, sexual harassment and unlawful retaliation. This law applies to universities, colleges and any educational institution that receives federal funds.

With Project IX, Emory Asian Women's Association want to cultivate and bring voices to the Asian community by better understanding our identities and diverse lived experiences and underlying injustices as we continue to claim our space and make more room for others as well.
